Karon Lynn Hursey

Mrs. Karon Schneider Hursey, age 55, of D'Iberville, MS., died Sunday, July 3, 2011, in D'Iberville. Mrs. Hursey was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lorraine Schneider and Winona Ruth Stewart Schneider, sister, Janet Kay and brother, Donald Lorraine Jr. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Hursey of D'Iberville, two daughters, Shannon (Scott) Ledbetter of Little Rock, AR. and Christina McAbee of Oxford, AL., two sons, David (Jill) Smith and Daniel (Angela) Smith, both of Slidell, LA., a sister, Dotsy (Randy) Weese of LaCombe, LA., brother, Gerald Schneider of Angie, LA. and twelve grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 7, 2011, from 1 pm until 3 pm, with a 3 pm chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
