It is with profound sadness that we announce Keith R. Vincent returned to the stars on October 2, 2026. Keith was 67 and will be remembered as a gruff but kindhearted man with a unique sense of humor, a huge soft spot for animals, and a fondness for a good rant.
He was born January 24, 1959 to the late Donald and Dorothy Vincent in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Keith enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling his pets, collecting owl themed items, playing online word games, and watching his favorite tv shows. He spent many years working in the casino industry (known fondly as “Kiefer”) before becoming a caretaker to his parents. He had a great love for science, science fiction, any peanut butter related sweets, and his day didn’t truly begin until he had his coffee, (which was frequently forgotten after making). Keith was fiercely self-reliant, and when his health issues worsened, he fought to preserve his independence by sticking to routines, tackling errands, and pushing through tasks, no matter the time it took.
While he could be as stubborn as the day is long, he was also warm-hearted, happy to provide help, and a reliable source of comfort and strength in tough times.
In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Ruth Vincent.
He leaves behind two daughters, Kristen Vincent and Sabrina Macgurn whom he fondly referred to as his “hearts” and was a loving father figure to Catherine Hopkins. Keith is also survived by his two brothers and a sister-in-law, Scott Vincent, and Larry Vincent and his wife Darlene, and niece, Keeli Vincent. Furthermore, he will be fondly remembered by extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Keith’s presence will be forever cherished and dearly missed, especially his warm hugs, strong personality, and the joy he found trying to embarrass his kids in public.
At the family’s request there will be no memorial service.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Keith R. Vincent.
