Kenneth Paul Gilliard

Kenneth Paul Gilliard was born on September 2, 1935, in North Braddock, Pennsylvania. He passed away on May 30, 2026, in Biloxi, Mississippi. Kenneth lived a life of service and dedication, marked by his commitment to his country and his community.

Kenneth served honorably in the United States Air Force for six years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his military service, he retired from a career in civil service, contributing many years of hard work and dedication.

He was born to parents Harry W. Gilliard and Ada Evans Gilliard, who have since passed away. Kenneth was married to Jacqueline Marie Fayard Gilliard, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved children: Paula Guenther, Deirdre Morgan, Ada Dodson (George), and Lillie Hopkins (Gary). He was a proud grandfather to Misty Bond-Olszewski (Bernard), Kenneth Guenther (Roberta), Jules Hopkins, George Dodson, and Lilana Fisher (Collin).

Kenneth was also one of several siblings, including Harry Gilliard, Ralph Gilliard, Shirley Gilliard Donato, and Delores Gilliard, all of whom have passed away.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Andrew and Utica with Salas Home Care, and Tracey, Amber, and the staff at Vital Care for their compassionate support and care.

A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery, where Kenneth will be laid to rest with honor.
