Kenneth E. Trickel, Jr., US Marine Corps, Retired

GySgt. Kenneth E. Trickel, Jr., US Marine Corps, Retired, 70, of Saucier, MS died Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Gulfport. Mr. Trickel was a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past five years. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict and retired after 22 years of service. He resided in Rockford, IL for 30 years before moving to Mississippi in 2007. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hulda and Kenneth E. Trickel, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Trickel; his daughter, Lisa (Mike) Stout; his son, Brian (Maria) Trickel; his sister, Betty (Jim) Dean; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Eddie) Willis and Jessica Broderick and her fiancé Tim Schulze; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. service on Thursday, July 19, 2012 all at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
