Kerry Wayne Wright of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away December 6, 2022 at 60 years old. He was born May 17, 1962 to Lola and Shannon Wright.
He was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and has made a lasting impression on so many people in the only place he’d call home.
Kerry knew how to command a room; he could go somewhere he’d never been and leave with 20 new friends. He also never failed to throw a good party, or attend a good party.
He was an avid supporter of his children’s extracurricular activities throughout their youth, and also shared with them his love of golf, music, cars, and cooking.
Kerry was a proud member of the Ole Biloxi Marching Club for many years, and loved to march in and attend Mardi Gras parades from Mobile to New Orleans.
He was carefree about most things in life, sometimes to a fault, but he always took great care in his work. He owned his own business, Wright’s Floor Covering, for 34 years.
Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Shannon Wright and his sister, Connie Ratcliff.
He is survived by his mother, Lola Wright; his siblings, David (Kandy) Taylor, Bert Wright, Selena Bethmann, and Damon (Dolly) Wright; his long-time girlfriend, Sandy Foster; his former spouse, Jennifer Copeland; his three children, Daphne (Chris) Giuggio, Meghan Wright, and Matthew Wright; Daphne’s children, Christopher, David, and Juliana Giuggio; and Matthew’s son, Grayson Ware, who loved his Grandpa Kerry dearly.
Arrangements are being made for a celebration of life. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Wright family.
