Lacreannia Angelia “MiMi” Warden Thomas, 51, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on February 15th, 2022.
Mrs. Thomas was a native of Gautier MS, and lived out the rest of her life in Ocean Springs MS. She was a high school graduate of Ocean Springs High School, and attended college at MGCCC Jackson County Campus. Mrs. Thomas was wonderful homemaker, she raised 2 sons, and several grandchildren. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren whenever she could. She was a warm soul who had a cheerful light to her.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Edward Warden; and her sister, Elizabeth Evon McLeroy. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jean McMillan; her husband, Oran Lee Thomas; both sons, Jeremy Nathaniel Rush and Cody Pharren Thomas; and by her grandchildren, Piper Staples, Shelby Thomas, Jessica Tillman, and Jeremy Rush Jr.
The family requests that any donations be donated to the American Red Cross and the Lupus Warriors Foundation.
A celebration of life will be announced by her family, to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Thomas will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and her family. She was a bright soul taken from us too soon. We hope she watches over us until it is time to meet her again in the afterlife.
