Lamar Dunlap Bond, Jr

Lamar Dunlap Bond, Jr., age 77, longtime resident of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Friday May 3, 2024 in Wiggins, MS.

He was born on September 28, 1946 in Biloxi, MS to the late Lamar Dunlap Bond Sr. and Yvonne Munster Bond. He attended Biloxi High School and worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Dry Dock Supervisor. He served in the United States Coast Guard as an Engineman 3rd Class Petty Officer. He was also a Volunteer Event Coordinator for the City of Ocean Springs.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Louis D. Bond; sister-in-law, Linda R. Bond; stepdaughter, Amanda Ann Carswell-Hall; and grandchild, Camaron Hall.

Survivors include his partner, Theresa Carol Bond; children, Lamar D. Bond, III and Lee N. Bond (Jennifer L. Bond), Donald D. Bond (Heather L. Bond), Ronald F. Bond (Melissa L. Partyka); stepchildren, Michelle Carswell-Harris (Lucky Harris), Toby Carswell (Robin Carswell); grandchildren, Nathan M. Bond, David J. Bond, Emma Kathryn Bond, Jacob F. Bond, Matthew S. Bond, Giavanna Bond, Traven Harris (Emma Harris), Austin Sykes (Yessi Sykes), Seth Sykes, Ian Harris, Luke Hall, Kaitlyn Carswell, Gavin Carswell, Bell Carswell; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Talia Harris; and by his brother, Douglas Bond (Tina Decker).

A memorial service to honor the life of Lamar Dunlap Bond, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, located at 675 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.
