Larry Shoemaker

Larry Shoemaker, 70, of Ocean Springs, died Friday, January 9, 2015. Larry was a native of Biloxi. He retired from the State of Mississippi as a Maintenance Director. He was an avid bowler, loved to fish and was of the Baptist faith. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Tony R. and Mary (Waldrop) Shoemaker; and one brother, James O. Shoemaker. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Gaynell Shoemaker; son, Larry D. Shoemaker; sister, Agnes (Roy) Shoemaker; brothers, Burton (Pat) Shoemaker and Tony (Lorna) Shoemaker; and two granddaughter, Bettie and Hanna Shoemaker. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 11am. Friends may visit from 9-11am. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
