Latarsha "Tasha" Annette Barlow

Latarsha “Tasha” Barlow, age 56, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2026.

Tasha was born on July 15, 1969, in Laurel, MS to Rose Mary Blakney and Billy W. Patterson. She enjoyed being with her family and cooking for them. Her house was a place of peace where she held all family gatherings.

Tasha was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Billy W. Patterson, Jr.

Survivors include her siblings, John Barlow (Brenda), Rosie Barlow, Tracy Patterson Legore (Ian), Timothy Delanie (Dawn), Mary Blakney, Latresa Rankin (Anton), and Roseisha Patterson; spouse, Arthur Jackson; children, Rebecca Barlow, Arthur Barlow, and Jonathan Barlow; grandchildren, CarDarius Barlow, Janyia Hatter, Ja’Quarius Barlow, Jaterrian Rackley, Kevin Walker, Jr., Channing Miller, Aaleeyia Barlow, and De’Asia Edwards; and her best friend, Lillie Mae Byrd.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Tasha’s doctors and nurses who were very supportive and gentle during her cancer journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport. Friends and family may visit one-hour prior to service. There will be a repast at 12:00 p.m. at 3210 16th Street, Gulfport.
