Laura Catherine Galloway

Laura Galloway, age 37, passed away on March 9, 2022. Laura was born in Gulfport, MS, the beloved daughter of Ben F. Galloway III and Denise Pitre Galloway. She graduated from Mississippi School for Math and Science and the University of Southern Mississippi.

Laura was a very kind and loving person with many close friends she cherished.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret “Peggy” Welte Pitre and Earl L.J. Pitre, and Jean Price Galloway and Ben F. Galloway, Jr.; aunt, Eileen Pitre; uncle, Casey Galloway; aunt, Kathleen Galloway; and cousin, Elliot Pitre.

Laura is survived by her parents; her dear sister, Hannah Galloway; and her fiancé, Matthew Fisher. She is also survived by her aunt, Judy Galloway of New York City, NY; uncle, Richard Galloway M.D. of Atlanta, GA; aunt, Michelle Pitre Heidinger (Bob) of Santa Rosa, CA; uncle, Michael Pitre of Mandeville, LA; uncle, Steven Pitre (Libby) of Gulfport, MS; aunt, Camille Pitre of Gulfport, MS; and cousins, Jason Pitre (Emily and their daughter, Penelope), Shayna Pitre, Anne Pitre, Price Totaro, Jamie Galloway, and Jeremy Galloway.

Private family services will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Galloway family.
