Lawles “Lolly” Cruthirds Cauthen, age 96, of Latimer, MS, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026.
Lolly was born on October 24, 1929, in Jackson County to Claude and Betty Cruthirds. She attended St. Martin High School and retired from Ferson Optics.
In her spare time, Lolly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved watching sports, especially women’s basketball. She was also a member of the Ocean Springs Citizen Center, where she proudly served as their Mardi Gras Queen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Cauthen; her parents; son-in-law, Keith Campbell; and grandson, Jimmy Campbell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Don (Carolyn) Cauthen and Joyce Campbell; grandchildren, Chris (Amy) Campbell, Amber Wood, Misty (David) McKenna, and Stephanie Campbell; great-grandchildren, Lawson, Parker, and Haiden Campbell, Riley Hester, Christopher Jones Jr., Blake and Brayden Wood, and Gage and Anthony McKenna; and great-great-grandson, Jett Jones.
Funeral services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
