Lawrence Edward Callahan

Lawrence Edward Callahan, 59, of Gulfport, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 in Gulfport. He was born in Hattiesburg, MS and was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. He was self-employed as a painter and was Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Callahan; and a brother, Michael David Callahan. Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Mary Callahan of Gulfport; three daughters, Jennifer Callahan, Bonnie Callahan, and Mary Callahan, all of Gulfport; a son, Lawrence Edward Callahan, Jr. of Gulfport; two sisters, Elna Carol Callahan Lopinto and Kathleen Louise Callahan Mason, both of Hattiesburg; two brothers, John Louis Callahan and Patrick Daniel Callahan, both of New Orleans, LA; and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
