On December 9, 2025 at the age of 88, Lenwood (Larry) Lawrence Stowe, passed away at Singing River Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS.

Born on August 19, 1937, in Lansing, Michigan, Larry lived a full and vibrant life marked by resilience, generosity, and an unyielding spirit of adventure. During the Vietnam War era, he was drafted into the United States Army, serving his country with honor and duty. A true man of many trades, Larry was always on the move, mastering skills that allowed him to build, create, and provide for those he loved. His greatest passions, however, lay in the water and in construction. Whether casting a line on a small, peaceful lake or navigating the majestic Great Lakes of his home state, Larry found solace and joy on bodies of water. He was equally at home with a hammer in hand, pouring his heart into building projects that reflected his creativity and practicality.

Larry was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought—a selfless soul whose kindness touched countless lives. In his later years, he and his devoted wife, Melva, made the decision to relocate to Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where together they built a home.

He was preceded in death by His Father, Lenwood W. Stowe, and Mother, Josie Pinekley.

Survived by his wife, Melva Marshall, and his children, Lennie (Dawn) Stowe, Donna Stowe, Wendy Davis, Wanda Botma, Howard Botma, and his Grand Children, Justin and Lenwood Stowe, Levon Flores, Nate Botma, Shawn (Kristina) Botma, Marty Davis, Becky, Robert Davis, Quinton (Miranda) Davis, Louis, Kenneth, and Tiffany Belanger.
