Leshia Free Causey

Leshia Free Langham Causey, age 62, of Moss Point, MS, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Moss Point.

Leshia was born on January 11, 1962, in Laurel, MS., to  Alberta  Free and John Scott.  She graduated from Carver High School in Bassville, MS, and worked at Goodwill as a Supervisor for numerous years.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta Free and John Scott and children, Adrian Free, Gregory Causey and Kenneth Causey.

Survivors include her husband, Ernie Causey, Sr., children, Bernadine Causey, Ernie (Iquita) Causey Jr., Terry (Marina) Causey Sr., and Gerald (Jessica) Causey, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Randy Hawthorne and Kim Hawthorne, devoted uncle, Milton Free, (2) devoted sisters-in-law, Betty Sue Burts and Betty Jean Holloway and a host of cousins and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 26,2024, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am church service, all at the Little Rock Baptist Church in Moss Point, MS.  Burial will follow in Ford Cemetery in Moss Point.
