Lester James Fox

Lester James Fox, 83, of Vancleave, MS died Friday, December 26, 2014 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Fox was a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a retired Jackson County Deputy Sheriff and a member of McClelland Road Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Violet Fox; his son, James Fox; his parents, John Raleigh and Mary Fox; his sister, Emma Tanner; and his brothers, John, Glenn, Alvin and Billy Fox. Mr. Fox is survived by his children, Sheila Little, Debbie Depew, Randy Fox and Charlie Fox; brother, Roland Fox; sister, Mary Hilderbrand; his eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm. A graveside service will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10am.
