Levern Maxwell Stringer, 81, Biloxi, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Lavern was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. Preceded in death by husband, Charles R. Stringer, parents, Monroe and Lucybell Blackwell Maxwell. Survivors: daughters, Linda Rose Clayton, Petal, MS, Sarah Faye Hill, Biloxi, sons, James Randall Stringer, Biloxi, James Christopher Stringer, D'Iberville, brothers, H.T. Maxwell, Meridian, MS, Vondell Maxwell, Pascagoula and 6 grandchildren.
