Linda Waites Johnson

Linda Waites Johnson, age 67, of Gulfport died Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born in Laurel and had been a resident of Gulfport for most of her life. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church. She was a very active businesswoman and community supporter and the former owner of Lifestyle Mortgage Company. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, Robert Waites; and daughter, Shelley Lynne Johnson. She is survived by her husband, John C. Johnson; a daughter, Kelley Janae Johnson; sons, John C. Johnson, Jr. and Steven Robert Johnson; a brother, Robert Waites; her mother, Doris Robinson; and her grandchildren, Chelsea Jordan Johnson and Regan Alexander Johnson. Visitation will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport with the service following at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Cahoun Cemetery in Jones County, MS.
