Lisa Kathleen Bass

Lisa Kathleen Bass, age 66, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at her home.

Lisa was born on August 25, 1959, in Franklin, TN. She graduated from Franklin High School and attended Tennessee Tech. Lisa had a lifelong career in the hospitality industry in Nashville, TN and Knoxville, TN. She was an avid University of TN sports fan, especially football, and an avid Tennessee Titans fan. She loved activities on the water , especially the beach, and enjoyed the outdoors.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Henrietta Motton Bass; brothers, Loen “Buddy” Bass (Bobbie), Horace Bass (Teresa), and Earl Bass (Molly); and sister, Lois Bass Hall (Jack).

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Annette Raymer (David), Nathan Bass (Kristi), Mike Hall (Patricia), Susie Hall Pratt (Kenneth), Sibyl Reagan (Colby), and Phillip Bass.; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 3 great, great-nieces and great, great-nephews.

Lisa was devoted to her family and loved them all dearly. She enjoyed and valued the friendship of the “Girl Friends” of Knoxville, TN, a friendship that spanned 40 years. Lisa made friends wherever she was. She had many friends in Franklin, Knoxville, and Gulfport.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Williamson County Animal Shelter, 1006 Grigsby Hayes Court, Franklin, TN 37064, and/or the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501.

A memorial service will be held in Gulfport, MS, and a graveside at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN. Dates to be determined.
