It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Lisa Nicole Rosetti Majure on April 22, 2025.
Born on March 6, 1962, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Lisa lived a life filled with creativity and deep devotion to her family and friends. Lisa was the embodiment of kindness, love, and selfless care, always prioritizing the well-being of those around her.
Lisa graduated from Gulfport High School in 1980 and then graduated from Mississippi State University in 1984. Lisa served as an investigator for the Mississippi Department of Child Protective Services in Harrison County, where she was relentless in protecting children from abuse and neglect. The countless lives she touched are a testament to her beautiful spirit and lasting impact she had on those around her.
Lisa and her family opened Sernac Galleries II on Courthouse Road, where her creative eye and attention to detail provided a source for beautiful gifts and home interior accessories. Amidst unexpected medical hardship, Lisa maintained a consistent joy for life and love of family.
Lisa’s passing leaves a void in the lives of her son, parents, extended family, and friends. She is survived by her beloved son, John (Mary) Majure III and her parents George and Barbara Rosetti.
Lisa will be remembered for her warmth, resilience and kindness– traits that endeared her to all who knew her. But we take comfort in knowing that, one day, thanks to God’s plan, we will see our beautiful Lisa again. May her life be celebrated with every story shared in her memory.
A private memorial service was held at Lisa’s home for family. Please take time to celebrate the remarkable life of our cherished Lisa in your own way, as no formal service will be held.
