Lois Eilene (Rayborn) Marks

Lois Eilene (Rayborn) Marks, age 80, passed away on May 20, 2018. Lois was born on February 10, 1938 in Arcadia, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Mabel Rayborn; spouse, Raymond W. Marks, MSgt Retired; and siblings, Dewey Rayborn, Stanley Rayborn and Norma Cunningham. Survivors include her children, Merilee Mortenson (Jeffrey), Glenda Fleming (Patrick) and Michael Marks; 7 grandchildren, Patrick A. Mortenson (OH), Benjamin J. (Stephanie) Mortenson (MS), Andrea B. Marks (AL), Kendra R. Marks (OH), Cory M. Marks (OH), Alicia M. Marks (GA) and Zackary M. Marks (GA); 2 great-grandchildren, Landyn and Elijah Mortenson (Benjamin); and sisters, Doris (Jim) Reynolds (FL) and Judy Burden (IN). The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Greenbriar Nursing Center for their care and compassion. In honor of our mother we ask that you perform acts of kindness; visit an old friend, make a new friend, buy someone's lunch, help a neighbor, smile and be thankful. Lois (Mom) always said, "It is nice to be nice." No services are scheduled. She will be interred at Biloxi National Cemetery with her beloved husband.
