Lois Peel

Lois Peel gained her heavenly wings on March 28, 2022 peacefully in her home in Latimer, MS.

She was born November 11, 1937 in Brooklyn, MS to the late James Odom and Claudie Mae Odom. Lois was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She retired after many years working for St. Martin North Elementary school, where she was able to touch and influence the lives of all that came through the doors. She was a member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church in the Latimer community. The one thing she was all about was family, she always was an open door to her children and grandchildren and was happiest when all of her “babies” even the grown would come for a visit to spend time.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Odom and Walter Odom; as well as lifelong friend, Bobby Joe Peel.
