Lonnie E. Gibbons

Lonnie E Gibbons, age 90, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Mr. Gibbons was born and raised in the Columbia, MS area and is a Korean War veteran. During his life he was a long-distance truck driver, accumulating millions of miles across the United States. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Gibbons was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Etta Mae Gibbons.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Gibbons; daughters, Renee Bechtel and Michelle Newton; son, Greg Gibbons; 3 grandchildren, Kalee Jackson, Natalie Kovasik, and Shannan Christensen; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Per Mr. Gibbons' request there will be no services and interment will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery for veterans. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the family of Lonnie E. Gibbons.
