Loraine Foretich

Loraine Schivers Foretich, age 73, of Biloxi passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Loraine was born on January 3, 1951 in Akron, OH. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from MGCCC. Loriane worked for Gulf Oaks Hospital and Gulf Coast Community Hospital. She was an LPN and RN. Loraine was nurse of the year in 1996 and received a reward for saving her younger brother from drowning as kids. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, writing, watching the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Braves, bingo, playing cards, and reading.

Survivors include 2 sons, Matthew and Joshua Schivers; 1 grandson, Lucian Schivers; and 2 brothers, Larry and Lowell Bland.

No services will be held. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Loraine Foretich.
