Louis “Grant”” Waltman, 84, of Vancleave, MS, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Vancleave.
Mr. Waltman was a native and lifelong resident of Vancleave. He was a retired welder from Ingalls. Mr. Waltman enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John “Boyd” and Cornelia Waltman; his wife, Eva Bang Waltman; his sons, Donald Ray Waltman and Robert G. Waltman; his daughters, Bernadette Waltman and Ida Waltman; his stepson, George W. Bang; his sister, Betty Jane Mathieu; his six brothers; and his special companion of 40 years, Wilma Griffith.
Mr. Waltman’s survivors include his daughters, Rita Griffith, Annie Howard, Linda Creel, Martha Pipkins and Ida Craig; his sons, James Waltman, John Waltman, Jimmy Griffith, Russell Griffith, Henry G. Griffith and Henry A. Griffith; his brother, Buck Waltman; his special grandson, Jonathan Griffith; his special granddaughter, Brittany Griffith; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave Holiness Church Cemetery.
