Louis Victor Stajdel

Louis Victor Stajdel, age 90, of Gulfport, died Friday, April 25, 2008 in Gulfport. He was born in Madison, IL and was a long time resident of the Coast. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 until 1945. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church , Gulfport. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Julia Stajdel. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jo Stajdel; seven children, Patrick Stajdel (Linda), Betty Lou Haverfield (Nick Hall), Ethel Johnson (Bob), Michael Stajdel, Jim Stajdel (Tonya), Julie Ziadeh (Gary), and Susan Steinbrecher (Neal); eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
