Louise Magee Caranna

Louise Magee Caranna, age 90, of Gulfport died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Gulfport. She was born in Bogalusa, LA, raised in Tylertown, MS and was a resident of Gulfport for most of her life. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Peter “Pete” Caranna and son, Donald Peter Caranna. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Leva of Gulfport, Betsy (John) Rettig of Gulfport, Patricia (Pat) Hemme of Montgomery, AL; daughter-in-law, Linda Caranna of Gulfport; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
