Louise Palmer Rairigh

Louise Rairigh passed on to her eternal life on March 30, 2016, with her family close at hand. Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, camping, dancing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rairigh; her parents, Pauline and Walter Palmer; her brother, Lawrence Palmer; and her sister, Corrine Abbott. Louise is survived by her daughter, Barbara Anderson (Andy); her two grandsons, Duncan Scott Anderson (Theresa) and Jeffrey Todd Anderson (Phillip White);her great-grandchildren, James Anderson, Andria Avgerinos (Andy), and Zachary Dotson (Hailey); and by her great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett Marie Anderson and Olivia Lynn Avgerinos. We would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Light for their loving care and support, and also to her loving caregivers, Sue Lacy, Luisa Parnell, Myrtle Waltman, Patty Williams and May Harris. In lieu of flowers, the family request that offerings be made to the Hospice of Light of Ocean Springs or to St. Paul United Methodist Church, also of Ocean Springs. A graveside service will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
