Lucy Wilder-Thompson

Lucy Wilder-Thompson, 71, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 in Gulfport. Mrs. Wilder-Thompson moved to the Gulf Coast from Alabama in 1968. She was an avid supporter of the Humane Society, where she volunteered when able. Her life was a labor of love and is evident in her care for her extended family, both adopted and blood. She was known as “Mimi” to many and loved all her babies equally, she will be missed. Survivors include her brothers, Bob Dubose and Rush Grissom; her son, Shawn Thompson; and four grandchildren. Her love lives on through the hearts of those she held close. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road Gulfport. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery.
