Mack Robley Broussard, Jr.

Mack Robley Broussard, Jr., 49, of Biloxi, MS, born March 9, 1976, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Tennessee.

Mack grew up spending his childhood on the fields and courts, playing football, baseball, and basketball. As a young ballplayer, he often asked his dad if he would ever be as good as his favorite second baseman, Marshall Eleuterius. He loved to wade fish and throw the cast net for “Biloxi Bacon,” and he would get frustrated when he couldn’t quite match his dad’s two speckled trouts on the wall.

A man of deep faith, Mack’s father often said that he knew the Bible better than anyone he’d ever met, a testament to the many years Mack spent devoted to ministry and to the Word.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Tanya Rose Sjostrom; his Paw Paw, Babe Broussard; his Maw Maw, Grace Broussard; his Paw Paw, Eugene “Buddy” Roberts; and his Maw Maw, Delores Roberts.

Mack leaves behind his father, Mack Broussard, Sr.; his sisters, Amanda (Dougie) Jones and Kecia DeShazo; his nieces and nephews, Breyana Jones, William Jones, Jr., Monroe Jones, Colton DeShazo, Journee DeShazo, and Makala DeShazo; his Uncle George (Marti), Uncle Pete, and Uncle Tim; and his brother he never had, Todd “Redbeard” Schlegel.

Memorial service will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Inurnment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
