Mai Thi Nguyen

Mai Thi Nguyen, age 48, of Jackson County, passed away August 19, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. Mai is survived by her two sons, Hung Phi Ly and Huy Truong Ly; sisters, Dinh Nguyen and Tuyet (Don) Nguyen; nieces, Amy (Johnny) Nguyen, Linh Lam, Thuy Nguyen and Nhu Nguyen; nephews, Lam (Uc Ni) Nguyen and James Nguyen; grandnieces, Theresa, Truc Lam and Nhu Y; and grandnephews, Andrew, Gia Huy and Bao Duy. The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Brian Persing, the nurses and staff of SRHS Regional Cancer Center in Ocean Springs, and to Connie at Hospice of Light. We fought the good fight. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 and Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church.
