Marcelle Stringer

Marcelle Stringer, age 81, died Wednesday, May 3, 2012 in Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene “Gene” Stringer; and her parents, Willis M. and Lillian O’Neal Martin. Mrs. Stringer is survived by two daughters, Paula Stringer of New Orleans, LA and Marinell Carrothers (Don) of Lansing, Kansas; a son, Richard “Greg” Stringer of Long Beach; a brother, Willis Martin (Winnie) of Panama City Beach, FL; two grandsons, Douglas Carrothers and Scott E. Carrothers. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens The family prefers memorials to South Mississippi Regional Center, 1170 W.
