Margaret "Diane" Polite Barhanovich

Margaret “Diane” Polite Barhanovich, 76, of Biloxi, MS called to the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in Ocean Springs.

Diane was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. Since 1976, she worked alongside her husband with their charter boat “Miss Hospitality.” Diane was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a former member of the Slavic Ladies. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and Nana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Polite, Sr. and Mandiana Pitalo Polite; and her grandson, Zackary Fayard.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth Anthony Barhanovich; her children, Renee Meyer, Rachel (Gregory, II) Hebert and Jennifer (Brandon, Sr.) Morano; her grandchildren, Taylor Fayard, Brandon Morano, Jr., Jacob Meyer and Keaton Morano; her great-granddaughter, Jaylah Kate Fayard; and her brothers, Charles (Kathy) Polite, Jr. and Anthony (Kathy) Polite.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff of Ocean Springs Hospital for their care.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
