Marilyn Swanson

Marilyn Swanson, 84, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Swanson was born and raised in Newington, GA. She worked for the Defense Contract Audit Agency in Vietnam and was an avid golfer. Mrs. Swanson loved her grandchildren very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Swanson. Mrs. Swanson’s survivors include her children, Bowie (Hollis) Blackburn, Jr. and Henry (Laura) Blackburn; her grandchildren, Jacob, William, Daniel and Benjamin Blackburn; and her sister, Carolyn Hilton. Funeral Services will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
