Marion Bessell

Marion Bessell, 89, of Ocean Springs, MS died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Marion was a resident of Ocean Springs since 1978. She enjoyed sewing and fishing and she was known for her great cooking. She was very devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Bessell, Sr.; and her daughter, Joan Ott. Survivors include her son, Louis J. (Linda) Bessell, Jr.; her son-in-law, Melvin Ott; her sister, Bertha Ciciora; five grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
