Marion Edwin Thompson

Marion Edwin Thompson III, age 63, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was born on June 14, 1952 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Edwin enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and was always there to support them. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water. Edwin had a big heart and loved taking care of rescued animals. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Edwin was preceded in death his brother, Michael Steven Thompson. He is survived by his parents, Marion Edwin Thompson, Jr. and Delia Ruth Thompson; his sisters, Dee Thompson and Pamela Cumbest; and nephews, Grant and Reid Cumbest. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Ms., 2615 25th Ave. Gulfport, MS 39501. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
