Marjorie Munro Roemer

Marjorie May Munro Roemer of Ocean Springs, MS passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She was an energetic and fun loving person who loved gardening, golf and spirited conversations. Mrs. Roemer was a member of the Dogwood Garden Club, Gulf Hills Golf Club, Biloxi Yacht Club and numerous other organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ruby Zinn of Carthage, MO and husbands, Owen Munro and Joseph Roemer both of Ocean Springs. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Marsha Jo McKnight of Lawrenceburg, KY and Skip Baxter ( Branda), Deveaux Carter ( Bobby), Sunny Munro ( Julia), Lizana Munro, Jata Craighill ( Rob) and Jerry Munro (Bonnie ) all from the MS Gulf Coast. The family wishes to thank The Pillars Living Center for the years of care for Mrs. Roemer and Gentiva Hospice for her final care. Services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
