Mary Claire Fulton

It’s with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother and devoted wife, Mary Claire Fulton. Mary died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019. Mary was 84 years old and was born and raised in McAdoo, Pennsylvania. Mary worked various jobs throughout her life, but her passion centered on her marriage to Tom of 63 years and her 3 children. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Her strength and ability to take life to its fullest was just one of her many characteristics that made her such a wonderful person. She traveled the United States and the Far East with her Air Force husband. She adored animals, was a long-time contributor to Saint Jude, and member of Nativity B.V.M Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her mother Loretta Butler, father William P. Butler, brothers William, Larry, Thomas, Jack and sister Jean Perna. She is survived by her devoted husband Thomas James Fulton, her son Gary Fulton, his wife Lorena, and Lorena’s mom Maria, her daughters Tamara McDonnell and husband Tom, Janice Zimmer and husband Mark, her grandchildren, Natasha Walczak, Shatara Fulton, Troy Fulton, Trent Fulton, Taylor McDonnell, Derek Zimmer and wife Jessica, Torie Zimmer and fiancée John Cassidy, and great-grandchildren, Braelyn Grace Zimmer, Luca and Louis Walczak and Sebastian and Benjamin Fulton. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity BVM Cathedral, 870 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530, on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
