Mary Denise Monroe

Mary Denise Monroe, 44, a lifelong resident of Gulfport died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 in Gulfport. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered especially for her kind, tender heart and unselfish devotion to family and friends. Denise was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Monroe. Survivors include her mother, Roberta Monroe; her sister, Patrice Power; brother-in-law, Bob Power; and niece, Meredith Surrey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 11:00AM at St. James Catholic Church, where friends may visit one hour before the mass. Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
