Mary Jo Jones, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS died peacefully at home, Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
Mary Jo was born on May 9, 1941, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Loretto Academy and was happily married for 48 years to the love of her life. She was a long-time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. There she belonged to the Order of the Daughters of the King. She was also a member of the Civic Friendship Club, and the St. Andrews Ladies Auxiliary (SALA) where she was a former Mardi Gras Queen. She was an avid bridge player and would play as often as possible. She loved socializing with her friends, volunteering in her community and an occasional trip to the Golden Nugget. Some would call her quite the social butterfly! Most importantly, she loved her family, her many friends and her sweet fur baby, BeeGee. She was very loved and will be so missed.
