Mary Lou Miller

Mary Lou Miller, 86 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Mary Lou was born on September 12, 1939 to Ida Moore Ford and Harvey L. Ford in Evarts, Kentucky.

She attended Cumberland College in Kentucky. She became a teacher who taught students in Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi.

Mary Lou was a talented homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Her cornbread with red beans and rice was a family favorite earning her the title of "Cornbread Queen"!

Mary Lou was a member of First Baptist Church, Vancleave, Mississippi where she enjoyed sharing her love for her savior and teaching Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rondy Lee Miller, son, Tony Miller and wife, Johnnie; granddaughter, Morgan Miller; sister, Phyllis Johnson; brother, Walter James Ford and wife Brenda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, William Ernest Ford, Henry Lee Ford, Jerry Preston Ford and Charles Edward Ford.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
