Mary "Mae" Lentz Brooks

Mary "Mae" Lentz Brooks, age 85, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Ocean Springs, MS. She was a native of Giles County, TN and a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1955. She was a member of Ramsay Hills Baptist Church, where she volunteered each year at the Vacation Bible School. Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Brooks, Jr.; her parents, John Lentz and Sarah Cannady; and her daughter, Judy Ann Brooks. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda (Billy) Massey, Susan (Mark) Ross, and Sandra (Shannon) Lee; her son, Tim (Robin) Brooks; her sister, Margaret Stanfill; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and her extended church family. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., all at the Ramsay Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
