Mary “Mae Mae” Hill Blankenship, age 84, of D’Iberville, MS, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Mary was born in Cleveland, MS. She was a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1976. Mary was a longtime member of Heritage United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She also worked in the nursery at the church and loved working with kids. During her spare-time she enjoyed working in the yard and she loved living life.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Wester Lee Ray and Gertie Frances Williams; first husband, Charles Hill; second husband, Punch Blankenship; son, Charles Richard Hill; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Theresa Hill; grandson, Joel (Kari) Hill; great grandchildren, Avery Hill, Bryce Hill, Dawson Bright, Aiden Bright and Addison Bright; and lifelong friend, Henry Redding.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to serve the family of Mary Blankenship.
