Mary Nell Patrick

Mary Nell Patrick, 82, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in Pascagoula.

Mrs. Patrick was born in Gray, MS, on December 21, 1939, to Wade Harvey and Mary Ann Lovorn. She attended Barnes School and Draughns Business College. Mrs. Patrick worked for the Federal Government for more than 20 years. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and was employed as church administrator for nearly 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Wade Harvey Lovorn, Jr., and Jack Lovorn, and her former spouse and father of her children, Floyd Patrick.

Mrs. Patrick’s survivors include her children, John Patrick and Ann (Kurt) Rauscher; her grandchildren, Tyler (Regan) Patrick, Kaitlyn Patrick (Christian Stafford), Joseph Rauscher and Gray Rauscher; her great-grandchildren, Sadie Stafford, Bentley Stafford, Adalynn Stafford, River Patrick and Ridge Patrick (expected November); and her siblings, Martha Ann (Chuck) Swaney, Jessie Manton, Jo (Jimmy) Edwards, Bonnie Lovorn and Ronnie (Pat) Lovorn.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time. Mrs. Patrick’s cremains will be scattered in St. John’s Memorial Garden.
