Mary T. Blackledge

Mary T. Blackledge, age 84, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Gulfport. She was born in Petal and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1952. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gulfport and WMU where she was a former president. She was also a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rothell Blackledge; a sister, Frances McFarland; and a brother, John Tolar. Mrs. Blackledge is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Blackledge and Rachael Grayson (Dave) all of Gulfport; a brother, Clifford Tolar of Riverside, CA; and two grandchildren, Jeff Harrison and Michal Thornton. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
