Mary Janet Champagne Yakovic

Mary Janet Champagne Yakovic, age 84, died Thursday, August 10, 2017. Mary was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was of Catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Yakovic; and her parents, Clifford and Victorine Savoy Champagne. She is survived by her daughters, Victoria (Gary Corners) Cornett and Angela (Wayne) Meaut; sister, Lizabell Chinn; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
