Meda "Mary Lou" Stokley

Mrs. Meda "Mary Lou" Stokley, age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Stokley was a resident of the community for 36 years. She was a personal caregiver in homes and loved to knit, cook and fish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stokley, a son Brooks Stokley, parents, Ruben and Sarah Burnham, sister, Merlene Springle, and brothers, Willie Lee Burnham, Luther Burnham, Brooks Ed Burnham, Sr., and Melvin Burnham. Survivors include a sister, Thelma Kirby of Clinton, LA., brother, Rubin Burnham, Jr., of Biloxi, MS., and a niece, Sarah Robertson of Ocean Springs, MS. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 19, 2007, from 6-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Sunday, May 20, 2007, there will be a 2 PM chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
