Melba Jean Davis, age 52, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Vancleave, MS.
Melba was a native and lifelong resident of Vancleave and a graduate of Vancleave High School, Class of 1983. She was a member of Vancleave Holiness Church. She was a former waitress at Mary's Drive-Inn in Biloxi. She also called Bingo for many years at V.F.W., Moose Lodge, Boys and Girls Club, and the Kiwanis Club. She was loved by all who knew her.
Melba is preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Patrick Davis; her mother, Vera "Sue" Bang; and two brothers, Sammy Lee Bang and Timmy Bang.
Melba's survivors include her husband of 29 years, Adam Davis; her three daughters, Sarah (Gerris Robinson) Davis, Casey (Isiah) Tatum, and Kristie (Joseph) Ross; her son, Jacob Adam Davis; her father, Lawson "Sam" Bang; three sisters, Terri Faye (John) Mason, Beachell (Harvey) Collins, and Brenda (Esteban) Gonzalez; and a granddaughter, Zoe Elizabeth Robinson.
Visitation will held Monday, May 29, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. memorial service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
