Melody Joy Gentry

Mrs. Melody Joy Gentry, age 50, of Ocean Springs, MS died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Melody was a native of Corsicana, TX and a resident of the coast for the past twelve years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother and was loved by many. She was preceded in death by a son, Heath Skinner and her father, Ronald J. Skinner. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Steve W. Gentry of Ocean Springs, MS, daughter, Allyson (Bachir) Tourkzi of Deltona, FL, two sons, Austin Gentry and Logan Gentry, both of Casselberry, FL, mother, Janis (Jim) Ware of Crowley, TX, two brothers, Mitchell Sanches of Azle, TX and Andy Sanches of Haslett, TX, grandmother Joy Young of Corsicana, TX and three grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2013, from 5pm~7pm and Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 1:30 pm~3 pm, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, February 23, 2013, there will be a 3pm chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
