Merilys Elaine Caddell

Merilys Elaine Caddell, 87, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Houston, TX. Mrs. Caddell was born in Wilmot, SD. She was a former longtime resident of Vancleave, MS and a resident of Houston, TX for one year. Mrs. Caddell was a former cafeteria worker at Vancleave Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Rose Schmidt; and her husband, Harold Caddell, Jr. Mrs. Caddell’s survivors include her daughters, Yvonne (Ted) Kishimoto and Karen (Bill) Sisk; her son, Stephen (Shirley) Caddell; her stepson, Dennis (Linda) Caddell; her sister, Caroline (Gene) Mundell; her grandchildren, Johnathan Caddell, Jennifer (D.C.) Turner, Stephanie (Matt) Brooks, Shelley Caddell, Adrienne Kishimoto and Dennis Caddell, Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Julian, Raeleigh and Jacob. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
