Michael Francis Uher

Michael F. Uher, 65, of Ocean Springs, MS died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Uher was a longtime resident of the community and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Ham Radio Club, a life member of the V.F.W. in Hattiesburg and a member of the Elks Lodge in Ocean Springs. Mr. Uher played in the Horseshoe Division of the Sr. Olympics and was a judge in the Kansas City Barbeque. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank "Fritz" Uher. Survivors include his wife, Daviann Hannagan Uher of Ocean Springs; mother, Beatrice Roberts Uher of Hattiesburg, MS; sisters, Stephanie Morgan, Lisa Poirrier and Sheila Massengale all of Hattiesburg, MS and Monica Cooley of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; brothers, Mark Uher of Hattiesburg, MS and Eric Uher of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. Visitation will be on Monday August 15, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with a 1:30 p.m. funeral service all at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
